Bethany Gadbois, Owner
RYT500, RPYT
Ayurvedic Health Advisor
Bethany Gadbois created the Historic Yoga Studio after 5 years of deliberation. She describes how she hopes people feel upon opening the doors at Historic Yoga- a place to get away, breathe more deeply, and come back to life refreshed and more balanced. When we can make time for this in our lives, we put our best feet forward and are our best selves for our families, work, loved ones, and our life's purpose.
Working in corporate America much of her career, Bethany juggled life as a full time mom and full time woman in the work force, until her health began to decline once she began her family. She instinctually knew that this was not how it was meant to be for her. The time came to say goodbye to 21 years of the grind. Many changes took place on her deeply introspective journey for the past 10 years to make Historic Yoga possible. Bethany made sacrifices and created change to be clear on the kind of work she was meant to give her energy to. One thing led to another, thus leading to more space in her life, where Historic Yoga could grow from only an idea to becoming a physical reality.
Bethany aspires to bring everything she's learned formally and on her own that have helped her heal and become the best version of herself throughout the hardest of times along the way. She wishes for others to know they are not alone on their journey and there are options out there when you may feel helpless or hopeless.
Find out more about Bethany in the studio!
While always viewing herself as a student, Bethany has been a student of yoga for over 10+ years and has formally studied and been trained in yoga since 2018. She began her teaching journey in 2019. Bethany incorporated Ayurveda (the sister science to yoga) into her life and became officially certified in 2021. Holistic health consultations have been a supplement to her yoga teachings since 2021.

Tanessa Celentano
Yoga Teacher
Flow with TLC
As a former kickboxing instructor, it became real to me one day that I would need to find a better way to help my body age safely. I had dabbled in yoga for decades, but it wasn't until I stumbled on Toby Schoeneberger's style of teaching that I fell in love. After training with her for 2 years, I began teaching in 2015... and have never looked back.
Yoga brings us back to where it all began. When we start out in this life, we only know breath. It is our most primal need.
Yoga = Breath.
If you can breathe, you can do yoga.
My goal is to help make yoga approachable for all. My teaching style is light-hearted and authentic, doing away with any fussiness or formalities and just getting to the heart of what you and your body truly need.
Having been in and out of physical therapy for well over 20 years, I am a stickler for safe alignment within postures. I teach everything from gentle/beginner to power vinyasa, but you will always hear me encouraging props, modifications, and any other means of supporting your body with integrity and respect.
We only get one beautiful vessel to journey through this life with... let's honor it and help it thrive. I look forward to meeting you on your mat!
Come flow with TLC for her monthly Saturday pop-up classes!

Liv Lozano
Reiki 1 & 2 Practitioner
A Fairy's Touch
Alivia Lozano, also known as Liv, is the creator of a small business called, A Fairy’s Purpose. She started off by selling original pieces of jewelry and candles, made from broken and vintage items. Her little shop is known as A Fairy’s Treasure. She created this shop to bring joy and help give items a new purpose.
Alivia is very spiritually open. She has been ever since she was young. After creating physical items, she wanted to do something more. She wanted to help, not only with physical treasures, but also help people who seek to feel less heavy; people who are looking for a purpose of their own. She ended up getting certified in Reiki level 1 and 2, so she can help others to relax, feel lighter, and release the heaviness they need
to. Reiki is a hands-on healing practice, using Universal energy to help balance the energy in the human body, and release the heaviness that is stuck. Alivia uses Reiki energy as a foundation in her energy practice. Her specific energy work can involve hands-on healing, hovering for those who prefer no touch, and crystals. Crystals are very powerful on moving energy in the body.
Liv's energy work entails connecting with each receiver who has a session with her, so each receiver has a different and unique experience. Her Energy practice is known as A Fairy’s Touch. You can book sessions with Liv right at Historic Yoga via her email afairyspurpose@gmail.com.
