Service Description

Tuesdays at 10am ⭐️ The GYROKINESIS Method is about finding supported expansion throughout the body. The first portion of class is seated while flowing through spinal manipulation exercises that coordinate breath and rhythm. The second half is done on a mat focusing on strengthening the front and back of the body. ⭐️ Gyrokinesis is a movement method that uses rhythmic, flowing sequences of spinal movements and joint articulations, coordinated with breath, to increase range of motion, functional strength, and body awareness. Developed by former a ballet dancer, it combines elements from yoga, Tai Chi, swimming, and dance, and is practiced without special equipment on a chair and mat. It is adaptable for people of all ages and abilities, focusing on opening energy pathways and stimulating the nervous system ⭐️ Increased spinal mobility and flexibility ⭐️ Improved posture and body awareness ⭐️ Increased range of motion and joint stability ⭐️ Stimulated nervous system and circulation ⭐️ Increased functional strength and stamina ⭐️ Reduced muscle stiffness and low back pain ⭐️ Increased energy and vitality
