Service Description

Beginner Yoga is usually held on Sundays. Yoga can be a transformational practice to begin your physical or meditation journey. Beginning a yoga practice helps to observe the mind, by bringing focus into your body and moving with the breath from posture to posture. Yoga can help to improve the physical stature as well as extending beyond into how we move through life. Yoga brings awareness to our breathing patterns, our patterns on and off the mat, and our lifestyle habits. Awareness and aspirations are a common theme in many yoga practitioners lives, which is why it can be a helpful practice to begin seeing the lifestyle changes that we seek within reach. In this class, Bethany breaks down poses so that students can learn to feel the pose in their body before moving onto the next. Many students appreciate the insight into how to do each pose instead of moving in and out and being left to wonder if done "wrong" or if there was more to explore.
